Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Below is our year-round cancellation and rescheduling policy, which helps us provide the best experience for all guests while managing the unique logistics of a seasonal retreat.

 
Cancellation Policy (Applies Year-Round)
  • 30+ days before check-in
    Full refund, minus a $25 administration fee.
  • 14–29 days before check-in
    50% refund of the total booking amount.
  • Less than 14 days before check-in
    No refund. A one-time rescheduling option may be available at Big Rock’s discretion – see below.
  • No-shows or early departures
    No refund or credit will be issued.
 
Rescheduling Policy

You may reschedule your stay once, as long as the request is made at least 14 days prior to check-in. There will be a $100 administrative fee for rescheduled reservations. Please call us to discuss your cancellation and rescheduling options.

Rescheduled dates must be within 6 months of your original booking and are subject to availability and rate differences.

 
Weather & Emergency Policy

Our retreat operates rain or shine.
Refunds or credits are not issued for weather unless an official Environment Canada warning or local emergency affects safety in our area.

In those rare cases, we will provide a credit toward a future stay within the same calendar year.

 
Payment Terms

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.

The remaining balance is due 14 days before check-in.

If your balance is not paid on time, your reservation may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

Note: By completing your booking, you acknowledge and agree to the terms above. For extra peace of mind, we recommend purchasing travel insurance.
